Through the St. John's Institute Foundation, OSVITA offers 6 scholarships/awards to deserving students.

Scholarship J: Ukrainian Summer School Scholarship in memory of Nicholas Ozipko

Value: $ 450 (100 X 3) and (50 X 3)

Number: Three (3) first and three (3) second annually

Conditions: To be awarded to student of Ukrainian 10, 20 and 30 in recognition of academic merit, residing at St. John’s Institute.

Scholarship U: OSVITA Culture Award in memory Michael Theodore Grekul

Value: $ 520 (130 x 4)

Number: Up to four (4) annually

Conditions: To be awarded to St. John’s Institute OSVITA Summer Program students in recognition of outstanding participation and personal contribution in all cultural activities. 

Scholarship Y1: The Mike and Mary Ozipko OSVITA Ukrainian Language Scholarship

Value: $ 100

Number: One (1) annually

Conditions: To be awarded to one Ukrainian Orthodox student in either Ukrainian 10, 20, or 30 in recognition of highest achievement. 

OSVITA Leadership Award

Award: A Tryzub pendant

Number: One (1) annually

Conditions: Awarded to the OSVITA student who exhibits outstanding leadership in all aspects of the OSVITA program. 

Ukrainian Professional and Business Club Scholarship

Value: $100

Number: no limit, all individuals that meet the conditions below will receive the scholarship.

Conditions: Shall be awarded to all students who receive a passing grade (50%) in Ukrainian 10, 20 or 30 while enrolled in the OSVITA summer language immersion program.
