Canadian Authors Association of Alberta

St. John’s Institute is privileged to be the venue for the monthly meetings hosted by the Canadian Authors Association of Alberta; an association that goes back more than 80 years, where “Writers help Writers” across the province.

September 26th and 27th were their first times hosting their events at SJI. Mary (Meri) Hladun, co-secretary and part of the Program Committee wrote an email to us , saying:

“Dear Mikaela,

On behalf of the Canadian Authors Association of Alberta, I would like to thank you and the staff at St. John’s Institute for your excellent hospitality and event services. Your professional coordination greatly contributed towards the success of our meeting and presentation on Friday, September 26, and workshop on Saturday, September 27. The First Floor Gallery and the Board Room were beautiful venues. As well, the seating arrangements, beverages, and desserts, were perfect! Also, the Saturday Brunch was scrumptious! In addition, we appreciated your special attention to detail…”

“…Thank you so much for making such wonderful arrangements for our group. We look forward to our next events held at St. John’s Institute. See you in November!”

We humbly thank Canadian Authors Association for their kind words. Special thanks to Jason Mord, our new chef, that made those delicious desserts and a wonderful brunch!

We will proudly continue our mission to subsidize non-profit and charity organizations to fulfill their cause and purpose.
