SJI partners with Reclaim Urban Farm (Metro News)

SJI is excited to announce our new partnership with Reclaim Urban Farm, a duo consisting of environmental sociology grad students, Ryan Mason and Cathryn Sprague. Reclaim’s goal is to grow food on reclaimed urban land throughout southern and central Edmonton. SJI will be contributing some outdoor space to the project.

This morning, the new project was featured in a Metro News article by Ryan Tumilty. The article explores the goals of Reclaim Urban Farm, which are based on Mason and Sprague’s desire to unite communities by providing easy access to healthy, freshly grown produce.

We look forward to this partnership as a way to give back to the community. We’re very excited to be involved in a project that promotes sustainability, local produce, and healthy eating!
