Strathcona Place Senior Centre Volunteer Recognition 2014

Saint John’s Institute was fortunate to cater for Strathcona Place Senior Centre during their Volunteer Recognition 2014 event, hosting 200 people.

In a nutshell, the Centre’s mission is  the provision of services, socializing involvement, and community activities to improve the quality of life of older, retired people, primarily those living in South Edmonton.

For the event, SJI prepared traditional Ukrainian homemade handmade delicacies and gourmet plated deserts. They also supplied the event with traditional Ukrainian instrumental and vocal performance.

You will find more photos of the event on the link below:

We are very grateful to have the opportunity to meet our new friends and neighbors in the Garneau community and we welcome them to visit the institute when in the neighborhood.
